Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a technical copywriter to produce, develop, and design written content and documentation to improve the communications between two or more participants, via any media that best enables information transfer and comprehension. 

• Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of thought leadership material on blockchain, open source technology, and decentralized finance.  
• Create documentation for new products, features, and APIs. 
• Engineer standards, principles, and best practices should be documented. 
• Organize and make documentation readily accessible. 
• Maintain content quality by curating and analyzing content performance. 
• Ascertain that all corporate narratives and communications support the content strategy. 
• Engage in technical discussions with the crypto community and various audiences (including Medium, Twitter, and Reddit) 
• Collaborate closely with the engineering and marketing departments. 
• Apply your imagination, judgment, and attention to detail to professional, technical, and operational issues.

Requirements

What you will need:

• Programming expertise or experience is preferred. 
• Education and experience in marketing, communications, journalism, English, public relations, information technology, psychology, business administration, international relations, law, or a related discipline.
• Prior communications experience Ability to gather, summarize, and evaluate data to gauge content success and audience engagement 
• Existing contributions in the field of decentralized finance
• Excellent writing abilities, grammatical ability, editing skills, and attention to detail to rapidly grasp new technological ideas, skills, and tools.
• Self-motivation and the capacity to recognize an issue and pursue it through to resolution to work independently and reliably in a remote location with limited supervision.
• Successfully managed your writing tasks on your own. 
• Have shown proficiency in managing content for time-sensitive projects with cross-functional, iterative teams.
• Have a proven track record of producing documentation or other material that synthesizes and simplifies technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Understand the difficulties of keeping documentation up to date with changes in fast-changing, in-development code, as well as how to produce just enough documentation to be useful. 
• Have a technical background and shown proficiency in distributed computing systems or other technological principles pertinent to our work. Working experience in a startup setting is desired.
